Here is my foundress--I like that word, even if spell check doesn't.
Her name is Josephine Titan--Josie for short, cause I like nicknames. She has an interesting set of traits---I hit the random button, so that I wouldn't be tempted to use the traits I favor. She ended up with socially awkward, bookworm, clumsy, nurturing, and easily impressed. Whelp--this should be fun--especially since she rolled Opposites Attract/Perfect Match for the Misc. fun. I've never had that one before--now I actually have to pay attention to traits...
I'm playing in a revamped Sunset Valley---it has added areas for more homes---but unfortunately that means some of the legacy lots are not there---this was the closest I could find--a 40 x 50. It cost $4000, which left her enough money for me to build this. Not bad--considering I haven't built anything in a long while. The house has plenty of foundation to grow into, lol
Basics, but slightly upgraded basics. I did forget the washer/dryer---whoops! It'll be her next purchase. She got a job in Education--so it might be a while, ha!
She rolled 5 kids--poor girl--so I gave her the LTW of raising 5 kids to teen. Now the fun part---finding a father for said kids!
Josie heads off to the park, already dreaming about her future family.
Cornelia takes off running in the opposite direction as soon as Josie shows up. I'm sure it's to warn Morty that I'm back in game, lol Lucky for Morty, he's really not on the radar yet---he's way too young.
I spy with my little eye--one Xander Clavell. I've used him before, his genetics are okay, and if I remember correctly he's single. Go say hi Josie.
J: Hi.
X: I like fishing, how about you?
J: *scrunches nose* Eww! Fish are smelly, and slimy and disgusting and...
X: ??!! Did you just insult my favorite hobby??
J: Errr, maybe?
Conversation quickly goes south--she can't even chat with him. Oh yes--now I remember why I don't use the socially awkward trait very often--it's annoying! Okay--so forget Xander, he has no fashion sense anyway. Let's see who else is hanging out in the park.
Look Josie--there's another one--go say hi!
J: Hi.
Aidan Jones. Hmm. He must be from another EA town, because I don't remember him being a part of Sunset Valley.
They are immediately attracted to each other.
A: Well, hellooo there gorgeous! *wink wink*
Dude is flirty, that could be a good thing?
J: Hey hot stuff--what's your sign?
Compatible signs--no foot in the mouth syndrome--maybe he could be the one?? Well, he's not the ugliest sim I've seen--maybe with some tweaking...oh..hang on a moment...what the heck??
A: *laughs nervously* Oh, hello honey! This is, what did you say your name was?
J: Josie.
A: Josie. She's new to town, and I'm just making sure she's settling in okay...
Aiden has a MRS. Well dang, scratch that one. S'okay, he didn't have much fashion sense either. Looking, looking, looking---hey---another dude. Go say hi Josie.
J: Again?
Yes--now go--I command thee...
J: Hi.
Jebidiah Wilson. Another transplant from the creator of this world I think. No attraction scores, but she gets the attractive sim moodlet around him. What the heck? What kind of magic is this guy using anyway??
Josie wants to know his sign anyway--so first a little chat up---
I spy with my little eye--MORTY!!! He is still my favorite EA made sim. I just love him for some reason.
This is an industrious version of Morty---look at him---setting up his own lemonade business stand!! XD
And, uh oh, she must have inserted her foot into her mouth as I was distracted with Morty. What did you say now Josie??
J: Nothing! I swear! He's just a stick in the mud...
SO yeah--that's not going so well either. Moving on. Except there's really no one around--except Morty. Might as well support the kid---
One cupcake demolished.
And...look! It's Gunther, Morty's father. I'm a bit partial to him now, ever since I used him in my Kahekili Legacy with Julia. So many plans with that story--must get back to it--someday...
Compatible signs! Except he's about a step away from the grave, plus married, plus how could I use Morty for Gen2 if I used his father for Gen1?? That would just be...bad!!!
Say goodbye to the Goths---for now.
No one else is around, but there are several wildflowers, and garden plants to harvest. I confess, I set her to that task, and went off to do something else. It's so boring watching them just...skill. Usually there are other sims in the household to occupy me--but not in this save--not yet anyway.

Whoops!! I totally forgot I set the Sim Autonomy Level to off, because I was taking posed pics for another Sims3 Random Legacy story I started: A Rose By Any Other Name I actually have 2 chapters written in it, but it's slow going, because it is so pose reliant heavy. Then I decided I needed another one to do alongside it, as a just for fun type, to get a break from the other. The other didn't start off that way though--so why must I complicate things????
Eh hem, at any rate. Sorry about that Josie, my bad---here, have a shower and some ice cream---
So ends the first day. Let's be honest. It was a bust!! lol Better luck the next day...I hope...
Josie still moving and getting up while sleeping--that's how I start my days too, ha!
Time for her to get ready for work. Did I mention she rolled idle careers?? Yeah, she's not going to get very far, very fast!
S'okay, I think it's going to take some time to find the right partner anyway. Darn traits.
I choose hang out with co-workers, so she can meet some more people. Christopher Steel, her boss, finds her pretty darn attractive. I've never done much with him---but I think he's kind of single. He always seemed to be a serial dater in my previous games.
Really--that was the most exciting thing to happen to her on the second day. She came back from work exhausted---so would I if I were a school teacher! She slept. She ate. She slept some more. *yawn*
I was happy to read that Gobias Kofi and Molly French broke up, they would have made some ugly babies. Poor sims.
Third day--Josie makes waffles. I wish to learn the ways of the sims and how they cook food--it seems so much nicer than the way I have to cook food!!
Apparently Josie doesn't find it very fun to mingle with her co-workers. Her fun keeps getting lower and lower and lower...
By the time work is over, she is in critical need of fun. So--what could be more fun than the Festival???
Doesn't she look like she's having a tot of fun??
J: Can I go home now?
No--you have to go have fun. Side note--this is almost the exact same conversation I had with my mother the other day, ha! I was ready to go home before I even left home. Birthday parties are not my thing--even my mother's! LOL I'm a terrible daughter, but I regress...
Fun. The fun must be had...let's see...oh...Josie already has an idea.
Josie is really competitive, she even changes into her athletic wear to compete in the Hot Dog eating contest.
J: They're going down!!!
Last minute contestant. I think his name is Dennis Racket? Maybe?
On your mark, get set, and EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And Josie loses. The Hot Dog eating contest was newsworthy, since the local Paparazzi lady stopped by to take pictures of it. Mid way through, she got interrupted by a phone call---
I think the Paparazzi lady is evil--that's quite a cackle! O.o Not sure what she found out about Hannah--maybe that her husband is a cheater??
Roller skating with the smooth operator---Aiden Jones.
Still trying to find out his traits. I forgot what a pain it can be--trying to figure out traits---without cheating, lol Most times I don't really care...
Skating isn't going so well for Josie...
I'll give Aiden an A for effort though--her multiple fallings didn't deter him in the least.
His wife shows up again though---and off he goes. I think Hannah could do better than him, really.

It seems to me he ages up soon (ish)--they have compatible signs. No idea what his traits are though. He's in the maybe category.
It's been about a simweek---and so far no luck on the ole partner hunt!!!

The misc fun is more challenging than I thought it would be--especially since her traits were randomly rolled.
Pics are completely un-edited. I'm not even caring about walls being up or down, skill bar showing, none of it. That is how lame I am, lol If I keep it super simple though--maybe I'll be able to update it fairly often. My life is a crazy train right now---so the simpler the better.
